Nonlinear current and dynamical quantum phase transitions in the flux-quenched Su-Schrieffer-Heeger model

We investigate the dynamical effects of a magnetic flux quench in Su-Schrieffer-Heeger model one-dimensional ring geometry. show that, even when system is initially half-filled insulating state, induces time-dependent current that eventually reaches finite stationary value. Such persistent current, which exists also thermodynamic limit, cannot be captured by linear response theory and hallmark nonlinear occurring presence dimerization. Moreover, we for range values dimerization strength initial flux, exhibits quantum phase transitions, despite performed within same topological class model.
